Our Mission

Sandwich Baseball Association, an independent not-for-profit charitable organization, was established to promote baseball for children ages 7-16 years old. We are dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of the game, within a structure that provides playing time for as many players as possible, while emphasizing good sportsmanship, fair play and fun at all times. SBA is operated by volunteers supporting programs for competitive and non-competitive play to children living in Sandwich School District and eligible for participation in SBA.

Why are we looking for new Board members?

Sandwich Baseball Association must maintain a strong Board of Directors. We are looking for Board Members that are interested in making decisions that further the Mission of the Aviation Little League and for Board Members whose primary objective is for the positive benefit of Sandwich Baseball Association organization as a whole.

Each year, new members are needed to replace the â??aging outâ?? Board Members (who take years of experience with them). We have an ongoing need to recruit new Board members, 8U to 14U as parents from these divisions will be the future Leaders of Sandwich Baseball Association.

Maintaining an adequate number of active Board members will allow each Board Member to fulfill 100% of their assigned duties and responsibilities. Doing so will prevent mistakes, problems and issues that to correct, drain energy, time and resources from our mission of supplying our youth with a quality baseball experience.

Are you are interested in becoming a Board Member?

If you are hesitant to join the Board, a great way to join is to attend our Board meetings essentially observing how Sandwich Baseball Association operates. You can also speak to an existing Board Member as well.
